The culmination of a year’s exhibitions, events and experiences; Work In Progress will honour the artists’ whose creativity adorns the gallery’s walls and makes Helm the vibrant, contemporary space that it is. 

Helm will be transformed into a blank canvas once again, as we invite our artists to create brand-new works of art, live, whilst open to the public. 

We will transport you to the studios of 9 contemporary artists from around the world, all under one roof, working across a variety of mediums and styles. Each with their own space in the gallery to work from, this is your chance to meet those at the cutting edge of contemporary art and see first hand their artwork coming to life.
